I got my copy today and have been playing it on and off all afternoon and evening and I am pleasantly surprised. I've never been good at Gran Turismo games in the past - the lisence tests were always to tricky for me eventually. Not so on GT5 it seems, I've managed to get a couple of lisences so far as well as complete a few events mainly with golds and I'm really enjoying it. It either feels more accessible or easier than past GT games.
Love some of the special events to - the Go Cart stuff is really fun, Top Gear stuff is a pain at times but I've managed to clear the first 2 races.

Could anyone lend me a Toyota 7 Race Car for the Historic event in expert? Having trouble with B Spec grinding to get it... Would be appreciated (happy to lend anything I can in return)

Hooked on this game

wouldnt of thought so, think they are all pretty much available, kinda pointless though, I transferred my cars across but can only use them in Arcade mode, not In career, kinda pointless really.

if thats not the case, then yeah its pointless

Got a Toyota 7. The community is awesome on GT5, managed to find a room for car trading and some nice chap traded me a car, and showed me how to keep the car you trade which worked like a treat

If that comment had been from anyone else I'd of thought "fair enough, each to their own" but being as its you, Blakey, let's face facts: if it had been a 360 game you be spurting your load all over it. Now f*ck off you troll.

Well, its just the same tired old shit isn't it from Blakey. He's already in the Killzone 3 thread picking holes. Guaranteed every ps3 exclusive thread this year he'll be there, eagerly share his 'opinion'. I thought we'd seen off all the trolls in this manor.

There seems to be a lot of fanboying going down at the moment, maybe its January blues... Dunno what the prob is, people should just buy Move™ 'The hardcore gamers first choice when it comes to motion control' and forget about all the competition... It wold sort the fanyboy problem out thats for sure

Why would you troll a console you've invested in? Bizarre.

I can't play anything else at the moment, absolutely love Gran Turismo - if there are any online things going on here I'd be interested.

I've played it for a bit and then got sidetracked by about 20 other games. Really should dig back in but something is always stopping me, like AC Brotherhood and Dead Space, not to mention that ropey old Crysis game.

I spoke to a mate the other day who said he'd got stuck on the American Muscle Cars event. Stuck? Can you get stuck on GT? No, I didn't think so.
