Me neither, but just for the record: games aren't necessarily developed in the same chronology that they are played.

Also true for movies and books.

Also games get played 100’s of times through in development. They could be looking at that for any number of reasons.

My bet is they’re preparing their demo for E3

Yeah a development timeline would probably put most of its early work into systems development and whatever frameworks are needed to hold the whole thing together.

God of War II is famous for the fact that they worked on the opening last. That Collosus encounter was the last thing they did.

Also if they're still doing the episodes thing then I bet that you don't even leave Midgar in this game. This could be boss 10 or something.

It's still very far away I'm sure though.
