I'm gonna try to hold out for the 'lite' version, or at least a snazzy colour. But I know the moment they get the alleged Paper Mario game out I will swiftly cave.

Like the look of it but will probably end up waiting till the next generation is due out to buy this. That way you get the best version and a decent selection of games to work through. That and I have enough games to worry about without adding another console into the mix. Don't think I can really find a way to justify something new and shiny :(

Because... it's new and shiny..?

I think I read that it can make your DS games 3D. But I might have dreamt that... seems a bit too much to hope for.

Personally I can't wait to see what Konami can do with the 3DS for the Castlevania games! I can imagine a whole new spectrum of castle twists and tricks. Maybe they can do something similar to Harmony Of Dissonance, but have two castles phasing in and out between the 3D layers

I can also imagine another game which is similar to Soul Reaver, but where the two dimensions are interlaced simutaneously allowing you to switch between them to solve puzzles and avoid obstacles

Haven't heard of that but if it can then I'm sticking with that as my reason to get one. Seeing I need to work through the DS catalogue I may as well work through them in 3D

Yup. Imported it from Japan, worked out at about £160 I think. I've got 2 kids now though so £200 seems like a lot of money these days. :D

Not interested in this at all, I got cheesed off with nintendo releasing revised versions of there handhelds before dust settled on the old one.

Hope it turns out good for those interested in it though.
