Re: Dark Souls

Well, I'm stuck. I haven't got a clue where to go or what to do next. I have: killed the gargoyles Killed the butterfly Found the hydra, but I can't get close enough to get chopping Found the blue drake area, but they are too tough Unlocked the watchtower basement but the guy in there one-shots me G...

Re: Dark Souls

*spoilers ahoy!* Ok, so I've twatted the gargoyles, wiped out the Tauren daemon, and ventured into the forest area. Presumably that moth boss is a ranged battle only? Also, that pesky dragon over the bridge - has anyone taken him out yet? I spent an age pinging arrows off him, and d ucking back down...

Re: New doctor who episode

Yeah, you're probably right. I just remember the Colin Baker era. *shudders*. The last thing I want is another convoluted plot that seems written as they went along, and by a five year old at that. Even Paul Darrow couldn't save that series!

Re: 3DS Discussion Thread

Did anyone see the new 3D preview of Luigi's Mansion 2? I'm really looking forward to it. I think here were some more for Mariocart and Kid Icarus too, both of which looked pretty dean good.

Re: New doctor who episode

I see Family Fortunes beat it in the ratings week before last, and they've axed DrWho Confidential. I'll keep watching it, as I never want to see Dr Who leave our screens again, but can't help wondering if Moffats 'epic' (overlong and far too convoluted) story arc had people giving up and watching s...

Re: New doctor who episode

Hmmm. Still far too much left unresolved for me. Amy just seemed to give up on seeing her baby ever again and just carried on with life as if nothing had happened. The plot was incredibly long, convoluted and uninvolvinig, having little consequence for anyone other than the doctor. The various episo...

Chaotic Neutral for me definitely. Every game is like a rediscovery of the rules and buttons.

Re: Gigs

Cheers mate, will definitely be checking them out again. Still trying to unravel my head after last night, but as random lucky gigs go, that has to take the number one spot. It was such an assault on the senses, but in a good way. I'm still deaf in one ear. Ok, now for some painkillers and hangover ...

Re: Gigs

I had a weird moment tonight. I have them sometimes when I am out, where things dont seem right, and the whole thng becomes oppressive etc. I dunno, maybe I just don't cope well in certain crowds. Kept hearing stuff on peripheral of hearing hat seemed wrong some how. Anyway, point being, I walked ou...

Re: Screw you guys; I'm just going to lancer charge them

I value teamwork in all areas of my life, and that's why I enjoy playing BC2 with gamestm forum guys so much. Most people I squad up with have the same aim in mind, and it helps that Rush has a clear goal - get the crates. Every team needs a goal, and every team member needs to know their place in t...

Re: Dark Souls

What about the magical marks left by other players? The bloodstains showing you the ghosts of players and how they came to a sticky end? How about blue phantoms coming to your aid? And more besides! Did you really think the game was better with all that removed? The bloodstains I just looked at for...

Re: OnLive - The end of PC gaming?

Nah, I'm not convinced by this. I took advantage of teh £1 games, and bought Red Faction Armaggedon. First of all, I'm in Cardiff, South Wales's best internet pipe, on Sky Unlimited, with a pretty damn good ping rate. So it should have all been peachy. At first I thought 'hmm, this may be ok' even t...

Re: OnLive - The end of PC gaming?

Are you doing it via PC, or did you buy the little box and controller to play via your TV? After you set up your account, how long did it take to get the 'account confirmed' email? I've downloaded the iPad app that shows games in progress, but am just waiting for account confirmation before I can lo...
