Match of the day Impressions sketch

I know the world cup is well over, but I just found these clips now, and I just had to link them: http://www.rte.ie/sport/worldcup/apresmatch.html Basically they're an Irish comedy act who do sketches based on TV football pundits and personalities. Unless you watch TV here you probably won't get mos...

Re:

You think??? I'm not an idiot. But it has to be there in the first place. I just found cultural differences between our nations quite staggering Yeah, an act like that would NEVER work in the UK, ho no siree bob, I couldn't imagine Borat ever working this side of the pond on a popular TV show, god ...

Trust me, whatever excuse the Americans have can easily be trumped by Japanese insanery any day of the week.

'I' and 'We'

Dear gamestm , Could you never reply to anyone ever again who asks why you use the collective term 'we' rather than writing reviews/articles from a first-person perspective? Anyone who takes the time to write a letter to that effect must have at least as much time on their hands as I do (if not more...

Being Irish, I find the Pogues a terrible embarressment. Yes, FToNY is a top tune, and a real classic, but Shane McGowen is a bit if a tool in my opinion.

Some recommendations: -Truama Center -Phoenix Wright -Trace Memory -Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time -Meteos A good list, though I'd put either Mario Kart or Animal Crossing in there too, perhaps ahead of some of the others, just because they're more accessible than something like Trauma Center , wh...

I have BF2, but I really don't feel like buying a new BF so soon after the last, especially with crimbo coming up and a whole bunch of new titles (and a new console) hitting the shelves.

Re:

Its not like Liksang personally know any of us, but as I've had such good comms/service from them it does feel a little personal (in a small way). Its comparable to the government closing down your local post office you've used for the last 20years. Its nothing personal, but it just ruffles you up ...

Re:

If you think you'll enjoy the game more with a guide to help you, then go for it. Some games just cry out for a little bit of a helping hand. Usually Japanese games that are a little... odd. At the end of the day, it's the old fun / challenge equation. At a certain point, if game proves to be too f...

Buy it used. You're not only boycotting them, but doing something they hate.

See? I should have my own show, like Springer, or Rikki. My name even suits, with two syllables- "NEE-MAN, NEE-MAN, NEE-MAN!"

So I've got Killer7...

...and it's brash, stylish and intriguing Only trouble is, it's a bit of a bugger to play. Unlike most, the controls don't really bother me at all, they're just not very good, and to be honest I find the layout of the game very confusing. So I'm going to do something I've never really done before, a...
