Re: The Kickstarter thread

Isn't that the spinoff? Isn't there a full version coming out too?

Edit: Yep - the full one is Ritual of the Night: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bloodstai ... _the_Night

Re: last movie you watched

What's happened? Has one of them kicked the bucket? Or are you reviving the conversation to take bets on old people's mortality?

Re: The 'what book are you reading' thread.

Yeah I'll see if I can pick that up in the next week or so then. I really want to read that Mutants book jeem posted a couple of pages ago, and Jurassic Park too, but there's no Kindle edition for either of them, so I'll have to try and get hold of them cheap on Amazon. At the minute I'm getting up ...

Re: The 'what book are you reading' thread.

Is that Kazuo Ishiguro? Just looked it up on Amazon, might pick up a second hand copy (I'm not paying £5-odd for a digital book on Kindle!). Honestly, this year I'm trying almost anything I can get my hands on. I've got 125 books on my Kindle to read, and a Kindle Unlimited sub (cancelling that this...

Re: The 'what book are you reading' thread.

I've only read three books on that list. 9 if you count HP. Honestly, it doesn't make me feel uneducated, I just don't care. I read what interests me, and most of them I've either not heard of or I'm not interested in. Anyway, I'm now up to having read 22 books this year. Book 18 - Fractured. A weir...

Re: The great TV Shows thread! (formerly THE WIRE)

I'm watching Handmaid's tale and it's really good. Imma read that book. Margaret Atwood makes a cameo in the pilot and I was like :o The book I found incredibly hard to read. Although that could be because I was reading it in sixth form and hated dissecting every last drop of phallic symbolism. Jus...

Nah, what would be a really weird idea would be to gaffa tape your Switch to your head and play it like it's a PSVR.
Wait, you're NOT supposed to do that?

Fiery Cherry Coke Zero is pretty good too. It's got the normal taste of cherry coke followed by the lovely heat you get from ginger. It's in a red can though, even though it's sugar free, so it kind of throws you for a loop.

Mango and Peach Diet Coke are ok, but they'd be better with vodka.

I hate to go all Jeem but it's a typical distraction technique. Make people think this is the important shit while the government shits on someone else, or somewhere else is bombed, or Donald Trump calls immigrants animals again.

Re: The Xbox ONE thread

Even now I regret getting AC:O on Xbox. But it was the shiny new box at the time. I get this. It's still a bugbear for me that I have AC: Syndicate on Xbox One but every other game in the series on PS3/4. And I'd rather have gotten Rock Band 4 on PS4, but my catalogue of songs was on 360 so I could...

Congrats man! My advice - get a pick and mix table - the sugar boost is fantastic when you start to flag after 12 hours straight of celebrating!

Anyone hear about this new Lars Von Trier film? Makes antichrist sound parochial.
Oh God. Antichrist was one of the weirdest/worst experiences I've ever put my eyes through. Just, there's things in that film that will literally never be erased from my brain.

Re: last movie you watched

I had fun with the new Power Rangers. I just switched my brain off and went into expecting it to be bad, so I wasn't let down by the poor scripting etc. In fairness, Bryan Cranston does a good job as Zordon, and I thought the cameo by OG Tommy/Kimberly was a great little addition. Goldar was a steam...

Re: Horizon Zero Dawn : spoilers !!!

I’m not trying to say that Horizon needs to be more like Zelda but I do wish Horizon had something more of it’s own. Because the music and artwork and backstory are fantastic but the game is very typical. And not bad. Like you right robot dinosaurs and that’s pretty cool but everything in the game ...
