You don't wanna go down to bone town without a light bug helmet.
I wouldn't ever recommend going to bone town without wearing protection and maybe taking some lube.

Re: last movie you watched

Silent Hill:Revelation assembled itself a decent cast, but the film itself is a big clanger.

Re: Mad Max

Giving this a go (another from the PS+ backlog).

Seems okay so far, there's something about the gameplay that makes it feel a bit like a mashup of Borderlands and Red Faction Guerilla, which isn't a bad thing.

Re: Beyond: Two Souls

There were a couple of instances where I chose a particular dialogue option but I felt that it didn't really play out how I'd of intended to, if that's what you mean, but I just rolled with it. Otherwise it's like doing one of those Fighting Fantasy books but checking out the outcome on different pa...

“That’s my story and I’m sticking to it”
Yep, so in many ways its like an RPG.

I chose to play Jodie in a certain way, and whilst I can understand that I'm missing out on alternative pathways, then anything different is just someone else's story.

Re: Beyond: Two Souls

Finished it, really enjoyed it too. Thing is, and this will go for choose your own path TV too, that whilst I acknowledge there are multiple paths then I have no intention to go back and play through them. What I like is that element of flexibility which allows me to chose to mould the story how I w...

Re: last movie you watched

Given the massive long running success of the live action Lion King musical stage show, it'd be hugely disappointing if they just CGI'd the live action film.

Re: The Rant Thread

The only way to feel okay about the exhorbitant price of glasses is to think that you'll probably wear the same pair now for 2 years, hence they've only cost you 50p per day. Now, can we have the real Maf story, where the sexy female optician / dispenser manipulates you with her femine charm to sell...

Re: Beyond: Two Souls

Still enjoying this, but I assume I'm probably getting near the end (just finished the mission in the snowy wastes). Both this and Heavy Rain made me ponder on the transition between these games and interactive movies/TV (Netflix and their Puss in Boots movie, and the pending episode of Black Mirror...

Further from my post above, just saw quite how many films there are in the Hellraiser series.

10 films, albeit only the first two are any good.

Re: Things That Go Bump In The Night : The Horror Thread

It's ok I just watched Red Letter Media's review of them. It's just weird to learn that that classic character apparently got milked dry for an entire franchise of films I'd never heard of. I do kind of want to watch Psycho again now, or some other classic freaky film. The twist in that film is far...

Do you think beards being in fashion hurts aftershave brands 🤔
Nah, I never really put aftershave on my face, I used it more like a body spray.
