Re: Bad rep for bad retailers

Whilst it's not a games order, they do sell them so thought i'd give a warning against using Gameseek for anything that you want to arrive in decent condition. I ordered a board game off them for £55 via Amazon and they sent it in the worlds cheapest/thinnest jiffy bag. It's arrived with a crumpled ...

Re: No Man’s Sky

I've avoided a lot of info for the best part of the last year or so on this, so i'm quite excited. I did read a couple of impression articles this morning and it seems to be exactly what i was expecting (chilled out survival/exploring game), so really looking forward to it!

Re: The Currently Playing Thread...

Thought i'd drop by for my first visit in a while! I've been playing a LOT of Smite on PS4 recently, probably clocked close to 200 hours on it now. Other than that, a few bashes at the Lego games with the kids, but not a lot's really grabbed me recently.

Re: Diablo III

Re: Divinity : Original Sin

I need to go back to this at some point - i got to the final area and got sidetracked by something else. I was starting to find the combat a bit boring towards the end, i managed to beat nearly every fight by slowing the enemy down as much as possible, send in cleric, a spider and zombie in as tanks...

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles / Xenoblade X.

I managed a couple of sessions on this over Christmas, level 24 now, and just about to start Chapter 6, although i'm also trying to tie up a few affinity missions as i struggled with the last couple of bosses i've encountered. I'm finding it such a relaxing game to play, I feel no urgency to do anyt...

Re: Board Games.

I got a copy of Galaxy Trucker off the in-laws, though haven't had a chance to crack it open yet. Also got the wife 'Trains', which is quite a nice deck builder.

Also managed to get my folks hooked on Splendor so played quite a lot of that.

Re: Merry Christmas 2015!!

Again, sorry for lateness but hope everyone had a good Chrimbo! I got Fallout 4, God of War 3 remastered and Wasteland 2 for the PS4. Haven't started any of them yet as I'm wanting to have my fill of Xenoblade first!

Belated Happy New Year guys, not really been online much over the festive period, been trying to keep to kids entertained for the last 11 days. I now see how people become alcoholics.

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles / Xenoblade X.

I swam towards an interesting looking object in a lake last night, and it unfolded into a massive level 60 tyrant. I died pretty quick. In regards to level four requirements, keep walking around near the barracks main entrance, there was a speech bubble above one of the npc's that turned yellow and ...

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles / Xenoblade X.

I'm about 11 hours in now - finding it a really relaxing game to play, love just wandering around trying to not get eaten by the high level enemies (saw an agro'd level 93 dinosaur thing on alert yesterday). Managed to bumble my way into the next area as well, but got scared after sneaking my way th...

Re: 100 foot Robot Golf

I thought this looked quite fun, I was sceptical about PSVR, but Sony seem to have got a lot of people's attention now, and Rez VR should be incredible.

All they need now is No Mans Sky VR and it'll be a day one.

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles / Xenoblade X.

Played around six hours of this over the weekend, and god i love it. Took a while to get my head around the battle system (cheers for the tips on soul voice Jeem), but now comfortably taking down enemies a few levels above me. Just unlocked all the online stuff so trying to work that out, but seems ...
