Re: Forum Shutdown

Yes. Soundwave messaged me before to let me know this place was shutting down. Seems weird, even though I haven't posted here in ages. Looking through Sly's list of forum memories was quite nice. I think the highlight for me was doing the MGS story which a forum member actually made a physical copy...

Re: Forum Shutdown

I'm not sure what's shocked me most, the fact the forum has shut down, or to see Ryan Whitlaw's name!

Ahhh Sherak. Whatever happened to that charming fellow? And did we ever find out who Peter was?

Re: GAMES TM MAGAZINE TO END

Came over just to express my condolences to the staff at GamesTM - the only games mag I still bought. I haven't posted much (at all) here recently because I jumped ship to MFGamers amongst all the kitchen bollocks a few years ago and it's a great forum (I'm Chimay over there). Some great podcasts an...

Re: Bad rep for bad retailers

Whilst it's not a games order, they do sell them so thought i'd give a warning against using Gameseek for anything that you want to arrive in decent condition. I ordered a board game off them for £55 via Amazon and they sent it in the worlds cheapest/thinnest jiffy bag. It's arrived with a crumpled ...

Re: No Man’s Sky

I've avoided a lot of info for the best part of the last year or so on this, so i'm quite excited. I did read a couple of impression articles this morning and it seems to be exactly what i was expecting (chilled out survival/exploring game), so really looking forward to it!

Re: The Currently Playing Thread...

Thought i'd drop by for my first visit in a while! I've been playing a LOT of Smite on PS4 recently, probably clocked close to 200 hours on it now. Other than that, a few bashes at the Lego games with the kids, but not a lot's really grabbed me recently.

Re: Divinity : Original Sin

I need to go back to this at some point - i got to the final area and got sidetracked by something else. I was starting to find the combat a bit boring towards the end, i managed to beat nearly every fight by slowing the enemy down as much as possible, send in cleric, a spider and zombie in as tanks...

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles / Xenoblade X.

I managed a couple of sessions on this over Christmas, level 24 now, and just about to start Chapter 6, although i'm also trying to tie up a few affinity missions as i struggled with the last couple of bosses i've encountered. I'm finding it such a relaxing game to play, I feel no urgency to do anyt...

Re: Board Games.

I got a copy of Galaxy Trucker off the in-laws, though haven't had a chance to crack it open yet. Also got the wife 'Trains', which is quite a nice deck builder.

Also managed to get my folks hooked on Splendor so played quite a lot of that.

Re: Merry Christmas 2015!!

Again, sorry for lateness but hope everyone had a good Chrimbo! I got Fallout 4, God of War 3 remastered and Wasteland 2 for the PS4. Haven't started any of them yet as I'm wanting to have my fill of Xenoblade first!

Re: 2016 - The Thread

Belated Happy New Year guys, not really been online much over the festive period, been trying to keep to kids entertained for the last 11 days. I now see how people become alcoholics.
