a better job of presenting the Mad Max world than Fury Road (which tbh, just seemed a post apocalyptic Benny Hill chase).
Would love them to make

Re: The Nintendo Switch Thread

I almost did the same with DQ and KH at one point and then I realised I don’t live in a time vacuum.

Btw answering mafs question aren't these games made in Scotland
No they’re a joint effort by all R* studios.

I believe North (Edinburgh) typically takes the lead on GTA and the last RDR was led by R* San Diego.

Re: Assassin's Creed Odyssey

43 hours in now. I reached Athens in my last session and it really was pretty damn mind boggling. I've never been lucky enough to go in person but seeing the Parthenon and Akropolis slowing emerging in front of me as I walked over a hill as the sun was setting was such a special sight to behold. Jus...

So I compromised on the recommendations and started watching Resident Evil Afterlife. I’m 11 minutes in and don’t think I can get any further

Re: last movie you watched

To address the elephant in the room, I generally dislike Disney films. I hated the films with songs in them, growing up. Films such as Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Transformers The Movie, The Black Cauldron (the actual Disney example) catered more to the tastes of Lil Pious. I think we guessed that alr...

Re: last movie you watched

So people must only be able to recapture their childhood by watching old movies at home rather than seeing a new slightly different adaption of old movies in cinemas in the present day? That's what nostalgia is :? Where is the "different adaptation"? They are still based on the framework of t...

Re: last movie you watched

Because people have nostalgic memories watching these Animated Disney classics as kids and sometimes like to feel like a kid and escape the monotony of their adult lives in the present day. https://i.gifer.com/13Qg.gif That kind of an answer would imply an outlet to recapture that feeling doesn't a...

Re: last movie you watched

Here’s a kind of underwhelming but still a curious teaser for the live action Aladdin movie next year? https://youtu.be/9g5knnlF7Zo It looks nice and those few notes of Friend Like Me, well you can’t go wrong with that. But this teaser didn’t excite me, really. Aladdin is one of only 3 or 4 animate...
